Outreach Ministries

The parish as a community is sensitive to the needs of all its people and seeks to respond to these needs with love and concern.

Bereavement Ministry:  These ministers assist in record keeping, visiting, telephoning, and writing letters to the recently bereaved.  If you are interested contact the rectory.

Ministry to the Sick and Homebound:  These ministers need to be available for telephoning, visiting, and doing small tasks for the elderly, disabled and/or sick.  Also needed are those willing to drive others to various appointments, centers, etc.  If you are interested contact the rectory.

Ministry to the Poor:  Volunteers are needed for a variety of services (e.g. emergency food distribution).  If you are interested contact the rectory.

AIDS Ministry: We need people who are willing to form a group to support HIV positive and AIDS patients and their families.  If you are interested contact the rectory.

Ministry to Persons with Disabilities:  We need people who are willing to form a group to plan and coordinate activities for those with disabilities. (e.g. meetings, outings, etc.)

Social Concerns Committee:  We need people who are willing to be a liaison with neighborhood improvement groups, the Feinson Center and community boards.  If you are interested contact the rectory.

Welcoming Committee:  Volunteers are needed to welcome new parishioners to our parish and help them feel part of our parish family.
